Hello,
I build software at jambit and had the pleasure of working with clients like Audi, Sueddeutsche Zeitung and Handelsblatt. Join us if that sounds interesting to you.
Projects and previous work
I love to tinker and co-founded Level9, where I build the technical side of the projects. I used to worked at eyeson and wrote some blog posts while I was there. I also built and maintained NamNumbers with a friend.
Some of my favorite projects and bug hunts:
- Something for runners: I really like the bee chart all the way at the bottom (I still have another version of it somewhere which is even better).
- Memelearning: Real-time gesture recognition and GIF-injection for video calls (Yes, still missing in most video tools! We did it back in 2018).
- Client-side MediaStream mixing: For screen sharing and presentations during video calls (In the browser! When that sorta thing was still newish).
- Edge90: Still one of the most time-consuming bugs I’ve had the pleasure of investigating (This was never fixed by Microsoft, but they eventually switched to Chromium).
- ReleaseBlock-Stable: I found a regression in Chrome that blocked the release of the stable version (I’m not sure if this actually halted the release but I like to think it did).
Books
Every once in a while I read a book and make a note of certain passages that I find interesting, amusing or noteworthy in some way.
- Extremely Hardcore: Inside Elon Musk’s Twitter
- Living with a Seal: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet
- Mission Economy: A Moonshot Guide to Changing Capitalism
- Number Go Up: Inside Crypto’s Wild Rise and Staggering Fall
- Going Infinite: The Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon
